WASHINGTON — No sooner did President Barack Obama and a group of senators separately outline proposals to revamp the nation’s immigration system than the phone lines on several African-American-oriented talk radio shows heated up with callers blasting the plans.
Who cares? They have no one to blame but themselves fast forward to amnesty.
Hispanics knew what they wanted (CIR/Amnesty/Dream Act/Family Reunification) and they threatened to withhold their votes if Obama failed to deliver. Now, both Democrats and Republicans are competing to see who can be the biggest panderers to secure the Hispanic vote. Black Americans will receive nothing, because they demand nothing. Democrats know their votes are guaranteed. So, why should they care? This is exactly what happens when people allow themselves to be taken for granted. But, they haven't seen anything yet.

I am bitterly disappointed in the Hispanic community for making demands that our politicians thumb their noses at our immigration laws for their ethnic group or they will be blackmailed by witholding their votes. I know not all Hispanics are like that however there must be many in order for our politicians to feel they have to pander to them in that manner. Shameless, IMO.

I think the illegals have been getting away with stealing jobs from blacks for a long time.. If they become "legal" then they can aggressively take away even more jobs that blacks need and others too. Obama needs to help long standing american citizens especially blacks BEFORE he worrys about all these illegals... Funny he NEVER talks about the illegal part that deals with the penalties for being here illegal...why is that? THE FRIGGIN LAWS HAVENT EVAPORATED.....

Your exactly right! he never has hid the way he feels about his "Path to Citizenship". Those who are against it, but voted for Obama, knowing what he would do. Are just as bad, as Obama.

hispanics are multiplying at faster numbers and will have more influence since votes are bought not earned anymore-but i am convinced that we will collapse long before they collect all THEIR benefits.
oh, and all the BS that we can and will make our borders secure mean nothing, just pandering to the "american" side of the issue- it's not going to happen because we have desperate globalists running the country.
