This is the common sentiment amongst the Latin community and is causing a lot of hate groups we are seeing today. Many Hispanics think Caucasian Americans have turned on them illegal or not.
It is almost like the contract is ending on latinos in the US and now they are being pushed into the offices in the basement.
You can say "this is only effecting illegals" but it is not, with all of this comes discrimination towards legals too.
Where can legal hispanic families go to not be discriminated against?
NY, California and Florida are about the only places I would go. |

I admit that everytime I see a Central American walking around I automatically assume they're illegal.
But, it's not like your bretheren are doing anything to speak out against illegal immigration. Maybe THAT'S why "caucasian" America (and black America, and Asian America, and everything in between) is turning its back on you.

If you're a Mestizo Mexican in South Florida, the Cubans, Blacks, and South Americans will discriminate against you. But, you'll have an easier time getting around, and if you're a white Hispanic, there's no better place in the country for you to live!

It's unfortunate that the legal latino population is feeling unwanted. Latinos have long been known for their excellent work ethic. It's what paved the way for so many.
I guess that we'll just have to think of it as collateral damage.
