Crackdown isn't illegal. It targets illegals.

From the article page 4:

Quote:
"I feel like when this county was growing, when they needed us, they welcomed us Latinos with open arms," he said. "But now that the county is all grown up and times are hard, it's totally turned its back on us. They are so ungrateful."
This is the common sentiment amongst the Latin community and is causing a lot of hate groups we are seeing today. Many Hispanics think Caucasian Americans have turned on them illegal or not.

It is almost like the contract is ending on latinos in the US and now they are being pushed into the offices in the basement.
You can say "this is only effecting illegals" but it is not, with all of this comes discrimination towards legals too.

Where can legal hispanic families go to not be discriminated against?
NY, California and Florida are about the only places I would go.

That is an awful opening statement for a new thread. When opening a new thread, it is critical that the OP takes the time to post some information making it relevant to the other potential readers and posters.

I'll leave this open, but future threads with such minimal openings will be shut down.

Even amongst Caucasian Latinos?

I admit that everytime I see a Central American walking around I automatically assume they're illegal.

But, it's not like your bretheren are doing anything to speak out against illegal immigration. Maybe THAT'S why "caucasian" America (and black America, and Asian America, and everything in between) is turning its back on you.

If you're a Mestizo Mexican in South Florida, the Cubans, Blacks, and South Americans will discriminate against you. But, you'll have an easier time getting around, and if you're a white Hispanic, there's no better place in the country for you to live!

It's unfortunate that the legal latino population is feeling unwanted. Latinos have long been known for their excellent work ethic. It's what paved the way for so many.
I guess that we'll just have to think of it as collateral damage.
