Both sides have screwed us over on this issue, both sides, one side more, those votes mean more to them, then the feelings of most Americans.
Obama's government won't secure the border even if amnesty was passed. Congress needs to chime in which is not happening.

I agree, but at this point we have to be realistic about the situation. The politicians are not going to take a stand and the best deal we are ever going to get is going to be some kind of compromise.
Having 20 million illegals paying higher Social Security and Income taxes would help the financial situation the Federal Government has spent itself into, and would probably be enough to get some illegals to go home voluntarily. In a perfect world we could say no one can stay who did not come here legally, but as we all know, this is far from a perfect world.

I disagree. I think there are enough congressmen left that won't go for another amnesty nor a compromise on it.

This has nothing to do with a perfect or imperfect world. It is about our immigration laws.

Again, what are unemployed Americans supposed to do? Just continue to draw unemployment or go on welfare while illegal immigrants are working jobs they need?

You can cave in if you want to but as for me and many other Americans we choose to fight this. Anything short of voluntary or involuntary deportations is not the solution for our own citizens nor our country.

Closer to 10, as President Obama also waived removal for K-3 visa holders when their U.S. citizen spouse sponsor dies not having reached a two-year anniversary (they are referred individually to the immigration court system now), and the "Parole In Place" program for illegal alien spouses of U.S. servicemembers...

If you can find a congressman who has not sold out to the special interests, I would like to know who he is.
Even Rand Paul is now an advocate for immigration.

Jeff Sessions for one who is still opposed to any so-called CIR that allow illegal immigrants to remain here. Paul is now and advocate for "immigration"? Um, aren't we all for "immigration"? The issue is illegal immigration.

That seems fair, as it is the legal residents who have been burdened with the costs up to now.
In case you don't know, there is already a path to citizenship. Every other LEAGAL immigrant is following that path.

Actually what Paul advocates is open borders.
