NOPE, the impoprtant factor is that they got robbed by criminals. That means it is criminals robbing criminals.

Hispanics immigrants are more and more becoming the targets of robbers. This is due to a theory that Illegals cant open bank accounts therefore are more likely to carry large amounts of cash on them. Some robbers even wait outside check-cashing places on payday to get their loot from hispanics.

From my experience working inside a bank, hispanics do tend to cash big checks and carry more cash from their deposits/withdrawls.
foreigners of many nations often travel with money. they are prayed upon by predators in a number of usa cities.
we have several tools available to us to correct this problem including civil rights law, e.g.hate crime law.. hate crime law is sparingly used. the situation does need correction. these predators are the undesirables that use civil rights law to protect the violation of the law. our communities will eventually realize that often those waving the banner of "victim" are actually the perpetrators of violance and bloodshed in our cities. time will eventually uncover this farce.

right. criminals robbing a class of people (in your estimate, criminals). the problem lies in the crime itself, not the class of people victimized.

The point is though, that those who are in the country ILLEGALLY are MORE LIKELY to be victimized by other criminals

For their own safety we should start deporting these illegals. Then again being crime victims they now qualify for the new U visa and a green card for them and their families. If so, I guess it pays to be a crime victim.

Exactly correct!!! And the illegals are criminals no matter what pro-illegal people like to say. They break the law coming over the border illegally then they break many more laws staying and working in this country. Most are felons because of this, therefore, CRIMINALS!!!!

Anchor babies are against the Constitution as it was written when it was written and passed. The idiot interpretation that the liberals have done with it says they are legal. They are not in reality. The 14th amendment was written for the children of the ex-slaves, as it should have been. It was not written to allow any old third worlder to drop babies right and left for the freebies they could get and to take advantage of the citizens of a very giving country.

I am not ok with them because of how they came about and the reason they are born in the country. They are only leghal in the eyes of those who wish to trash the Constitution, as has been done over so many decades and even centuries now. It is not just the 14th amendment that has been misinterpretated either.

Any child born on U.S soil is a U.S citizen. This includes puerto rico.

Now, I have actually taken the time to read the article. Except for a minor single sentence digression about illegals and fear, the entire article has NOTHING to do with illegal aliens.

The story is only about a group of teenage thugs who target hispanics due to their perceived tendency to carry quite a bit of cash.

Who saw this story as different than my take on it? For those who might care to take a look at it, here is a working link:
