In Ecuador you could tip the policeman $1000 and be on your way

Nicolas Guaman Not Competent to be Tried; Judge to Revisit Case - Milford, MA Patch

WORCESTER — A Superior Court judge has determined Nicolas Dutan Guaman is not competent to be tried at this time, but has the capacity to understand his case and work with attorneys with the help of the correct interpreter.
Judge Janet Kenton-Walker said Guaman does not have a mental defect or disease, and can learn what he needs to know with the assistance of a qualified, Quechua interpreter. She ordered attorneys to hire a qualified interpreter who speaks his indigenous language, who can work with him on the case.

Guaman was arrested on Aug. 20, 2011, following a short pursuit by Milford Police. He is jailed in a Worcester County facility.
Tough. That Hispanic dude got through Mexico, Guatemala and a few other Spanish speaking countries to get to the US and I'm 100 percent sure he knew enough Spanish to survive there; otherwise the Mexican "ICE" would've booted him OUT. Word is the Mexican cops don't play nice.

To an American: "ignorance of the law's no excuse"; the same goes for Guaman too since he committed the crime in the US.

Yes malamute; they are. I have written about someone we know a motorcylist who was riding his motorcycle home, when a DRUNKEN illegal driver no license, hit him head on, and sent him flying.

Talk about someone who almost died, and was in the hospital for quite a while. This poor guy has plates almost everywhere in his body, from his head, to his legs. A messed up back, legs, arms, head. I have posted about this numerous times, the Ass-hole judge for some reason let the guy go.

Do not know why, but we know this is America and in our system, innocent until proven guillty, or until a judge lets you walk out SCOTT free.

Something is not right with this picture.

This is some of the crap i will never understand, bad alone they break the laws and the fence to get to this Country, and the ungrateful little twirps, have to drink and drive. This is not right.

This person we know, is still one messed up guy.
