As for the ACLU and it's mission: ACLU History | American Civil Liberties Union

And I'll leave you with this quote from the movie, The American President:

Let's face it. It is mostly Hispanics that are demanding amnesty for their illegal brethern. Certainly you aren't denying that.

I stand by what I said about the ACLU. Defending illegal immigrants is not something they should be getting involved in. Especially saying they will steamroll anyone who objects to amnesty.

1. "Amnesty" is a figment of your over-active imagination.

2. Yes, the U.S. Senators, and the President of the United States ... belong to "special interest groups." And what is that "special interest"? The American people. They've either been elected by large population constituencies, in the case of the U.S. Senators .. or by a majority of the national voters who selected President Obama to lead us forward.

3. You can either continue to be a part of the problem, or work to be a part of the solution.

No their special interest is not the overall interest of the country.

Amnesty is buried in the bill.

The solution is to enforce current laws, end birthright citizenship for children of illegals & let them to self deport by making it harder for illegals to survive.
