And what about the next 20 million, then 40 million, then 80 million. You think they are just going to stop? They will just learn from their relatives that are in the first waves.
If you are a democrat then your motto should be, "the more, the merrier".

We've had elections that have settled this.

The people who were calling for enforcement never made it into office so America has made its decision.

We aren't going to kick 20 million people out of the country. How could we?

So it is best to give them a Social Security card, driver's license and a Tax I.D. so we can get the tax revenue. A larger tax base equals larger revenue to the government to support government programs (even the ones conservatives love like the Defense Department).
Stop birthright citizenship, e Verify for ALL employees, English ONLY for food stamps and so on. Most illegal aliens WILL leave and the hard core ones in the US will lay real and stay quiet.

I'm planning on sneaking across the border into Nogales Mexico tonight, brushing up on Spanish, and becoming an illegal there. I hope they have a good food stamp program

The Constitution says that if you are born in the U.S. then you are automatically a U.S. Citizen.

To change that you will need the cooperation of Hispanic America and that ain't gonna happen.

And since English is not the official language of the U.S. you can't force people to take an english test before they receive their life benefits.

Things change. Not too long ago Black and Asian people weren't allowed to live in certain parts of the US. Even Ireland stopped birthright. The end's coming here in the US.

"Hispanic" America: MOST Americans who DO vote ain't "Hispanic" so few people care about maybe 10 percent of likely voters what they want or don't want.

Bad example.

Blacks and Asian during that time had zero political power.

Hispanics have TONS of political power...and this isn't Ireland.

And if you doubt the power of the organized and well funded few then ask yourself why America is so wrapped up in the affairs of Israel.

As was already pointed out there is no need to "kick" millions out. E-verify, denying any benefits and re-interpreting birthright citizenship will encourage most to leave voluntarily with no means to support themselves. That is if the pro-illegal rumors are true that they are only here to work. Let's put that to the test, shall we?

America has not spoken in agreement with the few traitors in office who want amnesty for millions of illegals with high unemployment right now. There are a many politiicians who aren't up for this amnesty fiasco because they know it isn't in the best interests of this country nor its citizens.

I have to laugh when the argument is made to legalize them so they will pay income taxes. Wouldn't Americans do that in turn if these illegals went home instead and Americans got their jobs back at a higher rate of pay? Even when illegals pay income tax they get it all back at the end of the year because of their low wages and numerous kids. Many of them get more back than they paid in during the year.

No election was based on "not" wanting our immigration laws enforced except for some greedy employers and those with ethnic ties to illegal aliens. The majority of Americans want our immigration laws enforced. Why wouldn't they? There are plenty of politicians who have been elected and re-elected that want our immigration laws respected and enforced.

Birthright citizenship is abused and will continually be abused by illegals as long as it exists in it's current form. Many of my relatives are from Mexico going back to when Arizona was a Territory and some more recently but none were Illegals. No one in my immediate family is ok with blanket amnesty and or the abuse of US laws. It is just a joke on people who come here legally.

I think the emphasis will continue be on Illegals from South of the border, but we will see more and more from China, the Middle East, Africa, India and former USSR countries. Today its 11 million. In 20 years it will be 100 million. We can barely absorb the ones that are here now, in 20 years it will be crushing.

HELL NO don't stop birth right citizenship because then none of us would be protected, and the constitution rendered pointless... or is that the goal?

The language thing will never work. Besides, they'd just move to California where our Governor "Moonbeam" has decided illegal aliens have the right to drive.

Again, just add a permanent resident clause and the problem would be very nearly solved.
