Uh; a wall or fence backed up by military force IS quite good in keeping people out. Israel does. Spain does it and so on. Yes; some WILL get by it but; it's better to have 95 percent stopped, the 5 percent who DO get through ain't much problem because they'd be scared of getting caught and deported.

What does Spain do when they catch an illegal already in their country. Give them a free pass because they were able to sneak by the border fence? A fence is just a fence and while good for keeping cows in a field it is no good at forcing people to stay behind it....

Ilegal is just that: ILLEGAL. Doesn't matter if you are white, brown, purple, or green. From Mexico, Canda, Ireland, Russia, or Mars. If you are illegally here, you should be rounded up and sent home. Violate the law again, you go to jail. Period. No grace periods, no "roads to citizenship."

What's your point. Most of us against people being here,, means anyone of any nationality, who enter illegally.

What is your point, ok their Irish, i'm Italain, any illegal Italians here, that also does not make it any more right. Look illegal is exactly that, don't try to say that white people are ok with irish being here, cause it sure as hell ain't so.

This is not about a skin color, or a race, this is about those people who break the law and enter this Country, illegally, and those who have been here for years, seem to get rewarded.

The country should be open to our allies to apply for green cards easier and vice versa. And I am talking about the UK and Ireland. (That isn't to say illegals living here but it should be MUCH easier for educated Westerners to come to the United States and work)

The Irish had to enter on a visa, they are visa-overstays, meaning they can apply for an adjustment of status. There technical term is not illegal alien, it is "out-of-status"

You're correct about the terminology but IMO if visa overstayers don't honor the conditions of their visas they should be sent packing home also.

Agreed. Even if they're "white" with blue eyes.

Once again, we see the issue is not about race. It's about laws and preserving the dignity and the costly precious meaning of American citizenship. Play by the rules, pay your dues, and join us.
