Well, as long as you buy products from corporations, you are tacitly supporting those high salaries that CEOs earn.
Where else can we get products except from these corporations? We just don't buy anything at all? Doesn't make sense. It is not our fault that some big cheese CEO is making 400% more than the workers in the factory. WE did not vote on that.
Also, I understand that if you get yourself educated and work hard, you MIGHT make more money, but most of our jobs that are now being created are in the service sector, and do not pay well. Just because you go to college or have experience, does not mean you will make a good paycheck these days. And, yes, illegals depress wages because they flood the market, so of course, wages go down. And, other well-paying jobs are going overseas.
Do not blame the American citizen for being ripped off by the corporations and the government who only care about themselves, and not about their fellow citizens or their own country. Even our own government is not patriotic.
Well, to be clear - I agree with you that illegal immigrants cause depressed wages. I'm just not convinced that depressed wages are a bad thing.
I saw people complaining that American jobs are being sent overseas, and in the same paragraph, they complain that illegal immigrants are depressing American wages. That seems contradictory to me, since American jobs are being shipped to other countries because our wages are so high.
Yeah, I'm sure you can see the frustration? May sound contradictory but just because our wages are high in comparison to someone in another country doesn't mean they aren't extremely low here at the same time. It's very simple, corporations are finding the cheapest way to do business at the expense of the American people.

It makes perfect sense. Corporations are there to provide you with a certain lifestyle at a certain price.
