I'll condemn any person who embraces ignorance. I don't know electrical engineering, but at the same time I'm not proud of it.

Condemnation does not equal restricting your freedom, if that where the case, you'd be the Stalin to Hispanics everywhere

No wonder you guys lost the election.
No, we expect people of that age not to able to migrate here because they would be a burden to our soceity with their advancing age unless they have the means to support themselves including healthcare. What the hell does the election have to do with that? You're grasping at straws now.

You're absolutely right. Nobody has the right to force fancy book-learnin' on ANY American. It's Communist.

To provide more understanding on this statement from "Oldglory", it is legal immigration he is talking about...

What is your ethnicity? Did your grandparents or great-grandparents learn English before they came here?

I speak Spanish when I travel to Mexico -- and yes I expect that those who want to permanently live and help themselves to all that this country has to offer can make some effort to learn the language of this country.

I learned Spanish -- but it has not gotten me a better job and I don't hire illegals to do my yardwork and housework so it doesn't help me order servants around. I also highly doubt it made my IQ go up to learn it, I think I can do calculus equations no better and no worse.

More useful languages to learn would be C++, visual C, Java, and sql. I think those help the brain far more. I also knew a guy with Downs syndrome who couldn't work a job at all who spoke both English and Spanish.
