Some use false SS cards and the employer couldn't have known that they were illegal.

I'm sorry Daniel, but the States do have the right to control businesses - called States rights. And, licensure is part of that control. And, the states can tell businesses who is prohibited from working at the business.

For instance, in Nevada - convicted Felons cannot work in Casinos. In Food, a known TB carrier cannot work in a food establishment. And, in the Case of all businesses in AZ (and now other states), illegal immigrants cannot be hired -

Now, what were you saying about the Constitution Daniel? Isn't there something the corresponding Bill of Rights about the citizens right to petition their government?
Ouch!

Pesky ol' Founding Fathers and their insistance on the right of the individual!

Because, in the case of AZ, if they do not check, they can lose, permanently, their right to do business.

How's that for incentive

Well, why don't we just go ahead then and give them the freakin' vote as well and let them decide who's going to run the country. Somebody somewhere will argue that it's the natural progression and then some idiot politician will get behind it and before you know it..

Geez....
