But what does the party of a Governor have to do with it? The states aren't allowed to enforce federal immigration laws, remember? Why is it whining to you when the right objects to something but not whining when the left does it? I don't care if a politician is left or right if they aren't doing something to solve this problem instead of promising amnesty aka CIR then they are the problem and they are the anti-American ones. You want to make this about party lines when both are guilty in some sense. However, it isn't the right promising the above just "some" of them starting to cave in.

If you would literally attempt to look things up you would realize you don't know what you are talking about, but since you have very little research ability....allow me to school and educate your ignorance.

California in 1982 is much more Hispanic than it was when it was ceded to the United States by Mexico in 1848.

And, according to a report just issued by the Center for Continuing Study of the California Economy, that Hispanic population -chiefly Mexican in origin - will increase dramatically in the remaining years of the 20th century. Even if the US manages to tighten its leaky southern border, the rate of increase will be high, according to the center's analysts.
Whats that, an article from 1982 showing you your claim is ignorance. http://www.csmonitor.com/1982/1025/102535.html

The influx of illegals into CA started in the 70's under a D Governor, Jerry Brown, since then the influx has continued under both R and D governors. Your claim they all came in under only R governors is a stupid as it gets.

The rest of your comment isn't even worth responding to since you have no real argument, only your own hyperbole and rhetoric.

They may come, but only when economics are good, which under dimwit democrats it never is. But it's interesting that your type only knows how to destroy an economy and devalue our Nation. BTW, they might come, but only after they are here they quickly realize they have to move to a dimwit controlled state such as California or Colorado. But more come while dimwit democratic party clowns are in office. I have to ask, are you an illegal or related to 1 or more? And don't even start with the undocumented nonsense. a person is either legal or not.

Bingo!!! There already is a Dream Act in place. I've been saying that for years. An illegal could go back to his country of origin and apply to a college before his 18th birthday. Undoubtedly if he truly is a good student he'd get accepted to some college. He would then have his status legalized. Once given a visa he has 4 years to get sponsored by an employer or what often happens in college meet someone to marry preferably an American.
