It's a lot better plan than what the nuts in the Senate and the moron stinking up the Whitehouse want !

A think tank that released the same exact study some years ago which, BTW, was soundly debunked then as is noted in this thread on the same exact topic, also started by the OP.

U.S. think tank says immigrant amnesty would worsen deficits

The thumping of the extremist-released "report" has been strong and hard. Across-the-board, from Republicans, Libertarians and Democrats. The gist of the report, as I listen to its contents and an interview with its author ... is to stop all immigration to the USA. It doens't just deal with the 6 million Mexicans and 5 million other vioilators ... it damns almost all immigration below the PhD level.

You think amnesty for 11-20 million won't cost anything ?
LaRaza is fighting to get all fees/penalties/etc waived so they don't have to pay anything to become legal.

Whats exaggerated? There are claims out there as high as 20M+. Pew claims only 11M which is what many tend go by. The answer is we don't really know how many there are, hence the 11M - 20M claim.

I'm just making a point that using a right-wing or left-wing think tank isn't going to move the meter much in a discussion between republicans and democrats.
