U.S. think tank says immigrant amnesty would worsen deficits (2013, website)

Granting legal status to 11 million undocumented foreigners living in the United States would significantly add to government budget deficits, according to a study released on Monday by the conservative Heritage Foundation.....The Heritage Foundation report was blasted by other conservatives, even before it was issued.
Cato Institute, in a website posting over the weekend, said that the Heritage Foundation study was an update of a "fatally flawed" analysis it issued in 2007.

Did these guys just figure this out? You don't really need a think tank to figure this out. A simple calculator with 16 digits will do.

Ah! The think tank you speak of is the Heritage Foundation headed by Jim Demint. This is the leading right wing organization against any bipartisan immigration strategy currently proposed by the gang of 8.

It would probably help in a discussion to not use right wing or left wing think tanks as evidence to support an argument. You think any democrat is going to take what the Heritage foundation says as gospel.
