Whenever the discussion of immigration comes up, I always hear, "we must secure our borders", it seems to refer to the Mexican border, and wanting to prevent mexicans, latinos, cubans, basically any minority looking person, but you never hear complaints about Canadians, immigrants who over stay their visas. Its always the south border and dealing with hispanics. Its kind of hard to take your rants seriously, when it seems your hatred is limited to a certain segment.

Securing our borders is about illegal immigration not legal immigration. The fact is that most illegals are Mexican and other Latinos. We don't want any illegals here including Canadians but they aren't here in anywhere's near the numbers illegally. We do object to those who overstay their visas also.
Leave the word hatred out of this. It has nothing to do with hatred but a desire to see our immigration law enforced and our soveirgn borders respected. If there is supposedly so much hatred of Mexicans, etc. then why are they here in the largest numbers legally also? We don't hate "immigrants" as you state in your topic title. We object to illegal immigration. You do know the difference between immigrants and illegal aliens, don't you?

Because the vast majority of the illegal immigrants are from Mexico. Look it up. They also have low education levels and are unskilled, creating severe burdens on underfunded public school systems, our medical care system (most are uninsured), and other problems you don't see with higher educated immigrants from First World countries. Your race card fails.

The hatred is also towards American born Hispanics. I think it has something to do with skin color.

Utter nonsense for most people. If there is any antagonism towards any Hispanic-Americans it is because they are putting their ethnic group above our immigration laws. I couldn't care less about someone's skin color.
Anyone care to address the low education levels, lack of skills beyond the menial, and the burdens the majority are placing on underfunded public school systems and our medical care system? Any of you pro-illegals have any objection to bringing their kids into your school districts so they can get an adequate education?
People love to hate the poor. Their fear of becoming poor is strong...so they figure if they whip the lower slaves with hate that they themselves will not be whipped.

I do not hate the poor. The topic is illegal immigration not the poor per se and even at that hatred is an inaccurate adjective to describe what we feel about illegal immigration. If there were any hate at all in this it is directed at those who have enabled illegal immigration. However, illegals are guilty of being their accomplices so they aren't the innocents either.
Why does it deem (sic) like your hatred for immigrants seems to start and end with the border between Mexico and the U.S.?
And here we have yet another fanatical racist trying to pretend that agreement with Congress's laws against illegal immigrants, somehow translates to a "hatred" of all immigrants.
You people really need some new material. This fib is too old and worn out to pass any more.

I couldn't agree more. This blurring of the lines between these two entirely differnt groups is just plain dishonesty.
