Why does "Judicial Watch" take a single claim that happened in the 1980's as truth, to be able to level the charge against President Obama? There's a reason for him saying something about it now, he is a "Birther". But that isn't what I would think as the most serious implication against him, I'll just let him continue to raise this story in the public eye a little more for now.
Some people do believe. Yes there is a reason he is mentioning this now. Just like other things that happen in the past are mentioned now. How many times have we blamed Bush regarding the current presidency?

Either way illegals have a foothold on benefits.

I live in Illinois and it has been known for years it is easy to get welfare here if you are illegal. The programs all state 'regardless of immigration status'. There was a study I think from last year where it stated something like 75% of those on Medicaid in Illinois were illegals and their children. Our medical program here offers medical to the parents of the kids on assistance and the parents don't need to be legally here either.

Meanwhile I know childless Americans who are unemployed yet can't qualify for most of these programs because they are childless. Sick that taxpayers are denied but not those who shouldn't be here.
