Right-Wing extremists and other anti-Americans have to be disappointed with the publicity surficing regarding felow extremist Grover Norquist's support for immigration reform. For them ... the sky is indeed falling.

Quote:
ďAmericaís the richest country in the world; itís also the most immigrant-friendly country in the world. This is not a coincidence. Itís our history, and itís what we proved again and again. Those that would choose to change our history and would make us less immigrant-friendly, would also make us less successful, less prosperous, and certainly less American.Ē

Wrong forum, this isn't about illegal immigrants. Norquist is discussing immigration itself and has nothing to do with illegals.

Varela is an idiot, the author of the piece, Sean Higgins, points that out.

Troubled as you are when extremists agree with the immigration reform movement ... the discussion is approprately placed, IMO. Speaking of idiots .....

I'm not troubled at all, I'm simply laughing at your inability to comprehend the actual article, to include your intellectual dishonesty, which is pointing out Varelas stupidity for thinking Norquist has come out favoring illegal immigrants, when he has only came out for immigration.

You see, Higgins is laughing at Varela for thinking a) Varela predicts that this will lead to Norquist being ostracized from the conservative movement. and b) It only a takes a simple Google search to find articles going at least as far back as 2001 on Norquist and his pro-immigration stance. He has even represented the pro-immigration side at the right’s annual CPAC conferences. Norquist’s stance is news only to people who haven’t been paying attention. No where does Norquist ever include illegals into the mix. Most, if not all, conservatives want immigration.

Comprehension is key to understanding your link, you've failed.

Grover Norquist is pro-"immigration"? Who isn't? Are they blurring the lines again?

I understand some extremists are 'choking' on Grover Norquist's support for the proposals being considered in the U.S. Senate supporting immigration reform. I don't doubt the RWNJs are burning him in effigy:

Quote:
Norquist, the president of Americans for Tax Reform, has been a big supporter of immigration reform proposals in the past, and heís spoken in favor of the immigration bill currently under consideration in the Senate

I get you now, you are hung up on the words "immigration reform" thinking that it pertains to illegals.....here's news for you...IT DOESN'T. Norquist has always been about allowing more immigrants in, from your own link
Quote:
Klobuchar, Norquist and others focused mostly on the macro-economic benefits of immigration reform for the United States.
You see, what Norquist speaks about is how immigrants, especially H1B's, how they add to Americas GDP. Norquist never speaks to illegals since he knows they decrease GDP, hence which is also what most conservatives do. The issue is people like you being unable to follow what is being stated and then interpreting some off the wall strawman that has been imagined and then saying, look see, Norquist is for illegals because he is for immigration reform. This is where your intellectual dishonesty comes in, since you tie immigration reform to illegals when Norquist doesn't.

What the extremists and RWNJs, the anti-Americans don't understand .. is the substance of the reform debate. Their minds are so closed they can't follow the 'bouncing ball.' Pay attention, folks. The Conservative movement in the nation is strongly behind the U.S. Senate immigration reforms. That's a fact.

Are you implying that those of us in this forum who are opposed to illegal immigration and want our immigration laws enforced rather than rewards for breaking them are extremist, anti-America, right wing nut jobs with closed minds?

No, it is not a fact that most conservatives in this country are behind the Senate bill and even many on the left don't agree with it. Quite the opposite is true.
