I support Giuliani because I think he's the person most likely to defeat Hillary Clinton in a national election. However, when it comes to the issues, the platform most similar to my beliefs is definitely that of Mitt Romney.
Bush certainly seems to be making little or no effort kick the illegals out-----and, he is a Republican as well.
As for the religious right: several of their icons in recent years have 'blown it' in the so-called morals department.

I always have a little chuckle when another fundie is found in a compromising position. I heard a mention that they caught another closeted Republican with a male escort just the other night but I hadn't heard the name of the people involved.
I have been watching to see who the religious right is going to back. I read that Sam Brownbeck pulled out of the race. I can't see them backing Giuliana or Romney.
