Public support for immigration reform has been overwhelming, as a poll you posted this morning attested to. No, this "thing" won't die ... unless the American-haters have their way.

Your polls are worthless. They are biased, manipulated to reach the result the pollsters want. I actually put more stock in the comment sections following major newspaper articles on immigration. Usually it's like 25 to 1 against amnesty for illegals, with the 1 being some naive college student or schill planted by some pro-illegal group to surf the net and make it look like someone, anyone, actually supports this. Keep DREAMing

Please describe this "hate". To want our immigration laws enforced is to hate America?

Yeah, I wondered about that myself.

American-haters? I came to America legally and become a American citizen legally. I don't hate America and I am not anti-immigration. I am anti-ILLEGAL immigration though because a) it's against the principle of America (America is the land of law, remember?) and b) it hurts Americans deeply, particularly the 99%.

Does wanting to obey the law make me a American hater?

I'm getting the feeling Obama will back away from this CIR stuff real soon since it could hurt him even more with all that's coming down with Benghazi and the IRS apologizing for the Tea Party thing.

I'm thinking that if it were so overwhelmingly popular, it would have passed a long time ago. Our politicians aren't generally known for doing things that are politically unpopular.

I think much of the reporting for pro immigration reform also known as amnesty has been from the pro Obama media.

Real reporting is hard to find when the media takes sides on political issues.
