LOL..with that list of exemptions for the requirement for English there will only be about 10 people left that don't fit into one category or another that will need to learn English.

I knew that whole back taxes was nothing but a joke. An illegal could simply claim to have been paid nothing or very little so he would owe nothing. And there was no talk at all about the big fines and late penalties that Americans have to pay. Typical -- the illegals are demanding their easy USA citizenship but don't want to be subject to the IRS like normal citizens are.

Yes -- the English requirement has become a major joke. A large number amnestied in the 1986 amnesty have never made any effort at all to learn to communicate in English. It's like English speakers learning what adios or manana mean and claiming that those couple of words mean they can speak Spanish.

This whole thing is totally absurd. What possible reason is there for letting illegals who are in households that are using Medicaid and food stamps remain here? They should be the first ones deported -- we need to stop bringing in the complete losers of other nations.

Who cares? As long as they vote democrats, we should let them in!!

By the way, does knowing how to say "suckers" means "learn English"? That's what the illegals are thinking.

The Dominican man in New Jersey who won the lottery, has been living in the U.S since 1987. And he still needed a translator because he does not know how to conduct an interview in the English language.

Can you imagine if an American lived in The Dominican Republic since 1987, and she or he still did not know how to conduct an interview in Spanish.

Liberals would call that person a dumb low I.Q American for living in a Spanish speaking country for the last 26 years and still not be fluent in Spanish.

But if someone were to refer to that immigrant in New Jersey as a dumb low I.Q Dominican, that person would be labeled a racist.

Hmm, not one response under this topic by those who think this bill should be passed.

Since no provision has been agreed to, to send to the House and Senate...everything is up and open for discussions.

What should never be up for discussion is a reward for criminal behavior.
