Yes, as a matter of fact we have one member in here who married a Mexican and she and her kids all ended up moving here. Didn't seem to traumatize them. Supposedly they have all adapted pretty well. I guess it is only traumatizing when it is done in reverse?

How could anyone be anti-immigrant after watching these 9 minutes? - YouTube
Uh; what makes that little girl so special? Millions of American kids have had their US citizen parents go to jail for breaking the law.

Besides the fact that it appears she's reading a damn script, what makes this girl and her family believe they have the right to stay here. I mean damn I've seen this situation firsthand with my uncle; guess what, he packed up his family and took them with him to Mexico. Furthermore, how does she know she can't adapt to living in Mexico? She claims its unfair that her father can't stay, well guess what thousands of people make the sacrifices to obtain legal residence; if her father never cared enough about his family to become a legal resident don't come crying later when they deport his ass.

Not anti-immigrant. Anti ILLEGA immigrants. Big difference.

The father can either take the daughter with him, leave her with one of the legal guardian or one of the government foster home.

Being traumatized? None of our business. You got a bleeding heart? Pull out your wallet and give them some money - nobody stop you from doing that.

These are the sad consequences of the parents who wish to come to the US illegally, and they know the decisions that can part them from their loved ones.

It is sad, but first ask the Dad if this is all worth it. I believe that children should be with their parent's. They would make it so much easier on themselves if they believed in the concept of doing things legally versus illegally, that means right from wrong by the way.

Kids do adapt pretty easy with moving and change, but this is the aspect of breaking our laws.

The thing is -- these La Raza groups never care about the children when the parent chooses to abandon them for the big easy money in the USA. Lots of kids back in the sending countries are growing up without parents. That for some reason isn't supposed to be sad --- very likely this father in the OP's article just joined 4 kids back home that he had previoiusly abandoned.

A very very large portion of illegals left children behind when they came here. Many don't support those children.

Parents who break the law and end up in prison are separated from their children too. No difference between them and this man. Stop blaming others for the faults of those in this country illegally. We did not make him come here. He should not have been allowed to be here long enough to have a 9 YEAR OLD American child. Where were the authorities all those 9 YEARS.

Get busy and get these people out of here before we have another 9 YEAR OLD child being separated from his/her parents. What about the Americans that have probably been paying the bill for these people for 9 YEARS. Who is thinking about them?
