First off who's anti-"immigrant"? If her dad came to our country illegally our laws warrant deportation. Do citizen dads who break our laws get a pass on them because they have children? He can take his daughter back to his homeland with him. Family intact.

I suppose you'd be equally charitable if your house was broken into, and the squatters enjoyed the house and benefits you paid for, and then demanded that they remain at your expense.... for their children's sake.
And her Father is NOT. So, he better take his daughter home and take care of her. It is not her fault her Daddy broke the law. Nor is breaking a law, justification for citizenship.
So what? She's also a minor and doesn't get to decide where she lives. Her father could and SHOULD have taken her with him. She has the option to return here when she's 18.
If Elian Gonzalez had been 18 when he was rescued at sea, he'd have been golden with an asylum claim. As it was he was a child and his Cuban father wanted him sent back to him in Cuba. Surely you remember how that ended, right?
Parents here illegally should take their minor childlren back to their homelands with them. When they become adults they can choose to come back here if they want to. Many countries offer dual citizenship also.
