It is not just Spanish.

Quote:
New York City is home to 130 languages and 8.2 million people, including 2.9 million foreign-born residents. An estimated one of every four adult New Yorkers cannot speak or read English well and 46 percent of the city's population speaks a language other than English at home
Many NYC Pharmacies Fail To Translate Prescription Labels For Patients Who Don't Understand English

I'll probably get negative repped for saying this but: this exposes yet a few more issues with America's law system.
First off, there is no official language. Second people can sue for the most ridiculous things. Third, those frivolous law suits make the news and become fact, then they are taken to generalize an entire body of people.

That said nothing about the lawsuit, but it just goes to show how One language makes things simpler cheaper and safer.

That is your job to find a source for the Lawsuit, I found what I could to validate your post further.

Facts are we do not have 1 language and NYC has 130.

I agree english should be the official language, and this is a stupid lawsuit.

By sections do you mean states? And I think each and every state has a pocket of Hispanic citizens that speak Spanish. In fact, why are you so afraid of change?

Pharmacies should not have to translate everything into spanish, but if they want latino business they better do it.

IT should not be a law
