Seems like he doesn't want to hear stories from Americans of how we are affected by illegal immigration.

However Obama has no authority to grant immigration status. If he had only said that DHS was using prosecutorial discretion, it would be debatable. At the moment he created paperwork, work permits and legal status for these individuals HE BROKE THE LAW.

He is acting as dictator & trying to use Republicans, to cover his crimes by passing this amnesty.

Obama has failed to support the immigration laws . He should be fired for not doing his job.

They are looking at potential millions more Democrat voters.
Who wouldn't pander to them ? It's either them or the Republicans.
You can't deport 11-20 million people.

They all know amnesty is the only recourse and so it becomes "be on my team" now.

Yes, I would also like to see him meet with Americans who have been negatively impacted by illegal immigrants such as those who have lost their jobs to them, paying hire taxes supporting them, been the victims of ID theft by them or were victims of other crimes by them such as rape, murder and death from auto accidents. I wonder how much his heart would bleed for them?

Outrageous. Some legal immigrants like H4 visas have come to the US respecting the law, have paid taxes for many years with no rights or benefits and they still can't work. However, Pdt. Obama is meeting with illegal aliens!? Disgusting.

I can understand the almost impossible task of deporting most of the illegals and we all know it is not going to happen. But getting CONTROL of these people and HOLDING THEM ACCOUNTABLE as we citizens are is what Obama and the others before him have failed to do and for this there is no excuse. Our non government is letting these people live here as colonist .

I'm sure unemployed Americans would not be in a festive enough mood for Obama to party with --- the illegals are certainly thrilled with Obama and the wonderful jobs and government handouts he's promising them.

Obama is very intent on making the USA a one-party oligarchy and what better way than by bringing in millions of foreigners who have proved to be a solid one-party voter back in their own countries. They'd rather flee their country than vote for another party -- that's what kind of voters they are.

As the thread continues I feel I have to remind you all to stay calm and respectful, even if you don't like Obama. Also, this is the illegal immigration forum, not "bash Obama" forum, in case you feel like ignoring the actual topic and only want to post rants about the president.
Yac.

The myopic hyperpartisan hypocrisy is strong in this one.

Neocons didn't seem to get nearly so upset when Saint Reagan granted amnesty to millions and millions of undocumented aliens or when Bush, Jr. didn't do a @#%$!& thing about immigration. Hmm.

But hey--you guys NEED your boogeymen. Seems like you'd prefer it when their skin is more brown, right?
