Daniel - it appears clear you are unable to debate this type of topic objectively. Several of your previous posts have been off topic and clearly written to have absurd comparisons

Here are the facts:

The Minutemen are working to help stem the tide of illegal immigration

They are assisting local, state and federal law enforcement officers apprehend those who have crossed into the United States illegally

They are assisting property owners in protecting their private properties

Stemming the tide of illegal immigration is high on the list of priorities of a vast majority of Americans

The above are the facts

Many people usually resort ad hominems when they are starting to run out of logic and reason for a point they don't have.

Why do you think it is more important for Minutemen to try to stem the tide of illegal immigration, when offering gun safety courses to gun lovers could result in fewer deaths to American citizens, or helping in search and rescue mission that could save the lives of American citizens, or help American citizens during times of natural disaster.

"They" are not a positive (financial) contribution to our economy - in the case of the State of Arizona, illegals contributed through all forms of taxes to the State, some $300 million dollars. Yet, the costs (tax) to provide services for illegals, in all forms, was $1.4 Billion - a net loss of, as I previously stated, of over $1 Billion dollars.

The appropriation of some $15 million dollars to support law enforcement efforts is already showing a "return" as there has been a marked reduction in costs directly attributed to illegal immigrants.

In January, the new employer sanctions law takes effect. And, even though it has not yet gone into effect, the impact is already being felt - many illegals are leaving this state and, more jobs are actually becoming available for those here legally - as it should be.

How many of the illegal immigrants you're advocating are responsible for those gun related deaths? Or disease? Or Rape? Or child molestation? How many people die from diabetes and heart disease? Should we outlaw McDonalds? Your ideas and comparisions are your attempt to create a diversion and confusion of the real issue, which, in case you forgot, is illegal immigration, which is wrong. Wrong wrong wrong. It's destroying middle class America. And you my friend are misinterpreting the constitution. You are manipulating it to say what you want it to say, many criminals and religous extremists do the same thing with the bible. Just so you know, I'm not fooled. I know what the constitution says and how it was intended to read, and I will never buy your defense lawyer tactic of trying to twist it to say something it doesn't.

Gun safety courses abound in the State of Arizona - Morning, Noon and night - 7 days a week. The minutemen could do no more.

AND, the Minutemen already do assist in Search and Rescue missions - and, many of the minutemen do already volunteer their time in case of natural disasters

Sorry Daniel - your arguments against the Minutemen are for naught - as it is clear, VERY CLEAR, you know little, if anything about those who are part of this organization.

Maybe this article will provide some insight as to the emphasis being put on illegal immigration:

5 indicted in 'Zip Tie' crimes
Suspects face a total of 96 charges in robbery spree

Maricopa County grand jury has indicted five defendants - four of them undocumented immigrants - in the "Zip Tie" bandit crime spree, County Attorney Andrew Thomas said on Sunday. Thomas said that 96 charges were filed in a 36-count indictment.

He discussed the Zip Tie case and the connection between undocumented immigrants and the Valley's crime rates at a rare weekend news conference.

In the Zip Tie case, six men are accused of robbing four Mesa grocery and discount stores over a nearly five-month period.

Oh boy, here we go again.. it is the minutemens perogative, to stem the tidal wave of illegal immigration. Why dont they this? and why dont they that? Why dont you help them protect the border or teach gun safety or help search and rescue or wait for the next natural disaster of your liking. or climb a tree and eat a banana? The minutemen have chosen at this time to help secure the border, Yeah but wouldnt???

You may have noticed that I have not had to resort to ad hominems in order to resort to the fallacy of argumentum ad populum, either.
