That doesn't explain your school hours presence here on other days.

I never got Veterans' Day off from school.

I don't believe anyone here in California is in school right now. Your from Texas right? You probably got Cinco de Mayo off. Some schools here actually get Cesar Chavez' birthday off. I guess it depends on the Area, but all schools should get Veterans day off.

*honors Mach50*

As an American, I get to decide who I honor. To me your pro-illegal position cancels out me "having" to respect you. That's what you fought for. Thanks.

I'll be honoring my BF tonight, who worked for a living as a sergeant in the USMC.

Nope, didn't get Cinco de Mayo off either, and I think Texas would hand itself back to Mexico before it celebrates Cesar Chavez's birthday.

Do you not get MLK's birthday off either?

You know just because you served for the Military doesn't mean you have to turn a blinds eye to corruption amongst your own government. Patriotism doesn't mean you should be spoon fed lies.

I guess being in the military made me realize we aren't exactly angels.

What is that supposed to mean? Are you mistaking me for someone who supports Bush? Do you think I'm a neocon?

ROFL

I did not have to serve in the military to realize we're not always angelic. Figured it out on my own.

I don't recall ever getting it off in my entire life.

Students in the DISD (where I attended school) are at school today:
