Risking a Hispanic backlash in favor of his conservative base, Florida GOP Gov. Rick Scott on Tuesday rebuked President Obama's immigration policy by vetoing a bill intended to help children of illegal immigrants get driverís licenses.

Florida Governor's Immigration Veto Predicted to Set Off 'Anti-Hispanic Bomb'

It looks like people have had enough and the blowback AGAINST anything that stinks of amnesty for illegal aliens is getting stronger.

Don't count on it. Amnesty will happen sooner or later. When it does, time to consider starting preparations of high tailing it out of here.

When does anti-illegal immigration become the synonym for anti-hispanic?

I asked my company for a transfer to Canada, but they blew me off. "Maybe next year," they said.

Well that is certainly the spin the pro-illegals like to put on it. Its a tool to deflect or try and guilt people into changing their position on the topic. It does not reflect fact at all. But thank you for pointing out the fact that most illegals are from south of the border and that is why thy get the lion share of the attention.

Wrong! Illegal alien = lawbreakers, period. No one is saying that all Hispanics are here illegally and they aren't all brown either. Yes, most of them are from Mexico but so what it is just a fact.

My condolences. At least you gave it a shot. Hopefully next year they will be able to transfer you. Good luck! The state that this country is in I'd move to Canada in a heartbeat if I could.

Are people serious about leaving the country because of this? Seems a little dramatic.

Yup. Texas is one of the best places to live but it's filling up fast with Californians and illegals.
