thats no real analogy. one can easily be humanitarian without having the needy live with them. come up with a better argument.

Disagree, we wouldn't be talking about changing the law. The SCOTUS can just say unless you are born to parents of citizens then you are not a citizen period. The SCOTUS is not obligated to grandfather anything. The SCOTUS can simply state all prior interpretations of the 14TH amendment were wrong and reinstate it as it was originally intended.

What a great place to live. I love this part of San Diego! Hawkeye's a cool guy, but he lives I'm guessing maybe Iowa, so he's never talked to a Mexican person.

Actually right now I live in Nebraska. But I did live in Sacramento for almost 30 years.

but the 14th amendment doesnt state that the parents need to be citizens. it just applies to people born here.
