What proof of citizenship do you carry around?
(For nearly all states, a state issued ID is not valid proof of citizenship; nor is a photocopy of your birth certificate or an abstract of birth, nor a social security card. Basically you would need to be carrying around your immigration papers, or the immigration papers of your ancestor who immigrated here, or your original birth certificate with state stamp in the state where it was issued, obviously it would not help you outside the state where it was issued.)
