Read a list of statements by the Senate jerks we elected:

The Stories They Told | RedState

Here are my two:

Corker: “We need a new immigration policy that reflects America’s values. First, secure this border. Allow people to work here but only if they’re legal. No amnesty. Those employed but here illegally must go home and return through legal channels.”

Alexander: “We cannot restore a system of legal immigration – which is the real American Dream – if we undermine it by granting new benefits to those who are here illegally.”

They are finally realizing they have no choice.

The illegals already have stealth amnesty and Obama can easily extend that 2 years.
They pretty much can do everything except vote.

I heard plenty of lies listening to the debates yesterday. Things like justifying giving amnesty to these people because we are a nation of immigrants, our economy would collapse without them, it's our duty to forgive and forget because that's who we are as a compassionate nation, it's not amnesty, they will have to learn English, pay back taxes, our borders will be secured, etc. I could hardly stomach to watch it. Those remarks came from mostly the Democrats but the Republicans were guilty of candy coating it also.

Yes, it's all part of a grand conspiracy ... amongst Democrats and Republicans.

If you think that either side is advocating for this other than for votes, money and power then you aren't dealing in reality.

You know I'm kind of thinking it is possibly just some kind of game they're playing. Democrats *should* be caring about the large number of unemployed Americans -- some of who are running out of unemployment extensions and unemployment of minorities is significantly higher than that of whites.

Adding 11-30 million newly legalized dirt cheap workers to the legal labor pool most definitely will not help Americans looking for jobs. So Democrat politicians agree to throw the voters they take for granted under the bus and of course the Republican politicians throw the voters they take for granted under the bus and neither side actually loses or wins in this.

And they please their true masters by bringing down wages and greatly expanding the supply of impoverished desperate workers.
