We aren't supposed to be "united". The U.S. and Mexico are two different countries. A fence merely indicates the border between the two countries. There are still legal points of entry. I am so sick of these spin masters.

I understand from your comments that you don't believe in everyone having the right to express their opinions, well, except for you that is. But considering that the plan for the militarization of the USA/Mexico border will have an impact on both the country of Mexico and it's citizens and residents ... I think a reasonably intelligent person would listen to what Mexico has to say and then form his/her own opinion. Suggesting people should shut-up conflicts with what Americans believe.

Sen. John McCain says the new border-security requirements in immigration-reform package that's set to pass the Senate this week as "well over-sufficient" and promises the U.S.-Mexico border will be "the most militarized border since the fall of the Berlin Wall."

Kind of a stretch to claim that someone is saying that "no one" should have a right to express their opinions but themselves, isn't it? Mexico should have no say in our border security. It is none of their business. No more than it is our business to tell them how to secure their borders. They are interfering in our politics for their own gain and our demise so we should listen to them?

What makes the border militarize? Even though its wishful thinking.

Even if it was militarize we have every right to defend our border. Mexico is a failed state and we shouldn't risk narco terrorist entering our country.

You're right. There is no plan to "militarize" our southern border only to add 20,000 more BP agents. Don't ya just love the spin by the pro-illegals?

Your right as usual, and people don't like truth. People do not have a problem with Hispanic's who are here legalized.

We are not pissed off get over yourself already, at hispanics, but at the thought of those who come to our Country illegally, which by the way, Americans could not get caught doing the same in any Country that i can think of. Can you. And demand rights that these illegals do, you know what the Country would say to Americans, think you all know.

No Country should have a say so in our border sercurity or politics. America is not respected any longer.

This right here.

And what the hell is a "modern" border? A border is a border. If Mexicans won't stop crossing into the US and the mexican government isn't doing anything about it then then drastic measures are to be taken.

Exactly. Its truly disgusting that we even let them talk about our border security.
