Many of them do get deported ..
Obama is deporting immigrants faster than Bush. Republicans don’t think that’s enough.

Well, I guess the "convicted" felons have either been detained or deported but that's about it.

Obama is counting what no other administration counted.
Returns and turndowns is not deportation but Obama started counting them.

So it's not even an apples to apples comparison.
If those same numbers got counted under Bush then Obama didn't even come close to any record setting.

They arent deporting many at all, they arent even trying to catch illegals who have made it in, they arent doing anything at all with those coming in on visitor visa and then staying, many are especially now with the expectation that they will soon be rewarded with amnesty and access more government handouts and high paying jobs here, many visa and visitor visa overstayers are not completely unskilled but here the hourly pay is too high to resist and no one is enforcing any laws when they decide to break them.

What do you mean by "turned down"?...

The problem, as I see it, is that having illegals here serves well the huge powerful organizations of political parties and big businesses.

They are a handicap to your average citizen who pays taxes and needs all those closed hospitals.

It's a shame that there is not a powerful group of citizens formed only around this one issue. I will bet that there are a lot of Hispanics who are middle class or more who also don't want the illegals here.
The problem is, that most of the groups who do not want illegals are also very wrapped up in other issues that are controversial and that turn many people off.

it that it's starting to resemble that pig Harry Reid.
Another load of obama$h1t? Please tell me you are not republican, considering that Reagans dumb***** was the first to give illegal immigrants amnesty

Still living in the past I see, Reagan was President how long ago !!!!

It's 2013, get current, trying to debate when your decades behind the times is pathetic.

Yes, and when Reagan was asked what the biggest mistake of his Presidency was, he said it was granting amnesty.

We never learn, do we?

The same issues that made it a bad move then also make it so today, but in spades.

Twenty percent of our prison population is composed of those born in other countries. Many hospitals have been closed around the country. Our education system is being taxed by these people. I don't blame them for wanting a better life, but not to the detriment of our own. Politicians are too ready to further their selfish interests without a thought to those of their constituents.
