I find it just amazing how many articles there are in the news about comprehensive immigration reform that are in full support of the Gang of Eight legislation that was recently passed by the Senate.

I Google the topic on a regular basis and read the news articles and 99% of the articles show a bias towards the Senate Bill. Even on the Fox News website. But 90% of the replies by readers are strongly against the Senate (Gang of Eight) Bill.

Why is there such a one sided perspective in pretty much all media outlets and such a one sided viewpoint in the replies by readers? A conspiracy?

You have to go to the blogs to find robust opposition. The elites want their cheap labor they could care less about folks.

It's called propaganda. That's what happens when Government has that much influence over the media.
Now go and read your history books to see just what propaganda can do to a society.

The media bases their articles on scientific public opinion polls, in which accuracy is the same as in political campaign polling. Anyone that refuses to believe them lives in La La land, as most posters that post in these immigration threads.

BS. These polls that you seem to love so much are junk science selected portions of public opinion polls.

Those who disagree with the preconceived result are not quoted or are misquoted. In addition, oppositions is derided, just as you did.

It all goes back to total government control over all the people, a goal that they have been pursuing for a long time.

There are polls supporting both sides of this issue. I prefer to believe that most Americans are for the rule of law and aren't seeking their own demise and the demise of our country which is what amnesty would do.

Mainstream media is filled with those whose employment and high wages aren't affected by 30 million cheap foreign laborers, many are the elite who want their low-paid servants but also the media is controlled now, it's part of the agenda.

Uh; please tell us why so MANY comments about those articles in the Comments section are about 7 to 1 AGAINST any sort of amnesty for ILLEGAL aliens.

Probably because as far as national priorities are concerned immigration is at the bottom of the list and most people choose not to debate it or even much care about it. And those that oppose amnesty are much more passionate about then those that support. Ask yourself this, in terms of the gen-pop, how many actually post and read websites like this?

Even the illegals and pro-open borders type are not completely thrilled with this Senate amnesty. They want NO border security of any kind, and even though this one doesn't address the worst kind of abuse, they're furious that any limits on the numbers who might come here illegally are being made.

They're also angry that those who came after Dec 2011, aren't going to be handed their amnesty. And now we're even hearing how cruel it is to have illegals pay $500 for their big reward.
