It's dodging the issue. If enforcement is the goal, then put some teeth into it with more border patrol agents, more fencing, and mandatory E-verify. House Republicans are just skipping around the issue without offering a solution and a way forward. All House Republicans know is stonewalling.

We don't know that they are. What we do know is the bill passed by the senate is a pork buster whose primary objective is to pander to hispanics and reward illegals.
It looks like House Dems intend to try and stone wall unless the bill rewards illegals.

From your link;
The House answer would not be "a special pathway to citizenship where people who are here unlawfully get something that people who have worked for decades to immigrate lawfully do not have," he said.
A pathway to legal standing, similar to immigrants who have green cards, could be an option, he said.

Myself being a supporter of CIR, would be ok with a compromise like that, with a few exceptions.

No one should break the law just because someone else does.

That's very easy to say when it's not your livelihood ion the line that you or your family has worked decades or even centuries to establish.

Sorry, but two wrongs don't make a right. Many businesses don't hire illegals and they are successful. It is ridiculous to break the law to stay in business. If one can't do it by following the law then they should go out of business.

I'm more interested in if we can make it easier for people from other developed nations to immigrate to the United States.

Default Pubs in House continue to be clueless

We can count on the Republicans in the House to use their votes and their mouths to dig the GOP political grave. Their actions, ideas, and proposals will help elect another Democrat as President in 2016, and help Dems gain more seats in the House in 2014.

Their view on this issue may suit the most racist, backwards, and ignorant segment of our society, but it is not a suitable solution.

I see, so to desire the enforcement of our immigration laws and not reward those who break them only appeals to racist, backward and ignorant Americans? How could anyone make such a statement with a straight face?
