what about the thousands waiting in line, doing it the right way?
there are many who would never do it any other way...because they have morals.
the ones who do it illegally, i question.

it doesnt work... what dont you understand? brain over brawn.
Well, I agree we're making somewhat of an attempt to arrest, deport and secure our borders. But it's a pretty lame attempt. It's like playing a football game with our third string, while our first and second string sits on the bench.

First of all, the FEDERAL government may be overwhelmingly majority white, but LOCAL governments, where quality of life issues are REALLY decided, tend to better mirror the composition of their communities.

Sorry, but the ONLY minority groups that I actually have sympathy for are blacks and native Americans. Everyone else except less than 10% of Mexicans are voluntary immigrants to this country.

the system i propose would eliminate lines altogether. those who are waiting could be expedited.

i dont think wait times have anything to do with morality. even so, morality is subjective, so the point is just aired opinion with no real effect on the discussion.

immigration is a federal issue though. they have the ultimate say in associated policies.
