Of course not---how silly. If a neighborhood harbored rapists and murderers, I'd probably reason that, "well, that's their business. Maybe these rapists and murderers are also being "good neighbors". It's not up to ME to judge."

It's a well-known fact that most rapists and murderers will turn themselves in eventually, if society would just get off their backs. Let their consciences work on them, I say....

But remember, rapists and murderers don't hurt the economy. Illegal immigrants DO. Illegals take jobs from Americans---rapists and murderers usually work outside the economy....does this make sense?.....

I don't recall anyone advocating punishing immigrants...I though we were talking about illegals, ALL of whom have previously broken the law. Sorry I didn't understand that someone wants to "punish all immigrants"..my mistake..

one of your points against illegal immigration is the increase in the number of criminals (without mentioning the larger increase in general population size). all i did here was show that your point is inapplicable as a rational argument against illegal immigration.

I'd punish a whole neighborhood if EVERYONE in it had committed rape and murder. Or if everyone in it had used illegal fireworks, had committed burglary, or had immigrated illegally.
