I'd punish a whole neighborhood if EVERYONE in it had committed rape and murder. Or if everyone in it had used illegal fireworks, had committed burglary, or had immigrated illegally.
well this is not the topic at hand. i asked what was the worst that could happen, and you said more crime. their immigration status does not matter in the context of this point.
one of your points against illegal immigration is the increase in the number of criminals (without mentioning the larger increase in general population size). all i did here was show that your point is inapplicable as a rational argument against illegal immigration.
Earlier today I wrote a long post explaining the difference between "domestic" (US) crime and "imported" crime. They're two different things. The existence of one does not neccesitate our acceptance of the other. The post is there, in case you're interested...

crime is crime. you can label it however you want. it does not change anything.

Ok, here goes..the very WORST, you ask?...hmmmm...I suppose the very WORST that could happen is that 12 million newcomers would be found to have a rare, fatal virus, and we'd all die in agony within 2 weeks. Probably not likely, but you DID ask for the WORST that could happen.....There are a lot of other BAD things that might happen, but this would be my choice for the WORST...
omg, I revealed the secret now ahhh me and my big mouth hope we don't start getting more illegal immigration, like if we didn't already, maybe the Nau is not a bad idea after all.

im curious what you all think is the worst that could happen if we had a free, quick legal immigration process?
i will agree that if the immigration process were easier, and took less time, we may have a nation of grateful immigrants who wanted to assimilate...(sounds kind of george orwell, but very important to a nation).
the fact that the wait time is long does prove that many want to come here. most are coming with the best of intentions, but because of the "wait time" most are doing it illegally, snubbing their noses at the immigration law.
some are coming because they believe this is their land and want it back...some are coming for reasons such as 9-11....doesnt matter why they are here, they are doing it illegally.
this is wrong.
it is not the illegals right to challenge the law, it is only the americans right to challenge the law, if they see fit.
i dont tell mexico, or germany or any other country how to implement their laws, (unless the law is a beheading in an iraqi soccer field....or somewhere where human rights are violated...really violated...like in rhwanda)
for the pro illegal they keep saying the anti illegal immigrant is against the "mexican" illegal...in my case, and in others i have seen on this board, i say it is not only about the "mexican" it is about any one who refuses to do it the right way...it is about our nations security....it is about every illegal who snubs their nose at america, comes here anyway, and then does it again, by marching in the streets, screaming they arent treated right......give me a break...nobody gave me anything for free...and i wouldnt expect them to, either.
come here legally, i love you...come here illegally you are my foe.

Dangerous? I don't know I would need to be there to know, although it looks like la Marquesa, if it is then is not dangerous but full of fun and adventure!
I don't see any Terrorism. Contagious disease. Criminals. Murderers. Rapists. Drug dealers. Sex slave traders. or all those mexican myths that some Americans seem to be really fond of
