give you examples of what? background checks working? or criminals that are repeat offenders? I can give you plenty of storys of repeat offenders, even ones that are illegal here in the US that have a track record of crimes in Mexico. One even had a warrent for his arrest in Mexico with an accusation of murder, he um... murdered someone here in Colorado

I don't have access to be able to do backround checks on some of the other violent crimes committed by illegal aliens, but I could guarantee that a good majority of them committed crimes and have record within Mexico.

They are some of the very violent illegal aliens that have come to America, and continue to commit very violent crimes. Crimes so bad that it has American gangs running for fear. Thats what it has to do with. Do damn backround checks on them and you will find trails back to their home country.

The government has many ways of doing backround checks. Have you purchased a gun? applied for a governement job? Yes it would take some work on boths sides. But it can be done

Look at their criminial past. Gang violence has a specific path. Your fighting about one word. or its meaning, where the lifestyle is what you should be arguing.

im not arguing against a background check. but a background check doesnt show gang involvement or potential gang involvement... it just shows crimes committed and prosecuted. gang involvement was the issue presented in this thread, not general crime.

It may not show gang involvement, but It will show trends toward that. Similar accomplices, similar style crimes, who the crimes were committed on.

Why are you auguring about a word? Any violent crime trends that show up in an application for citizenship should be denied, regardless of gang ties or not.
