Has anyone seen the pro-amnesty piece advertised on Fox News? I was flipping through the channels and lo and behold and illegal alien (the caption called him "undocumented") apparently begging and pushing his case for amnesty. Looked to be a Dreamie. He said he wants to join our military but can't because he is an "undocumented" (his PC language not mine). Yes, it is true that illegal aliens can't join our military and rightly so! He claimed he loves this country and called himself an American. Um no, you have to be a citizen of this country to call yourself an American aka a U.S. citizen. I couldn't believe that Fox news aired this of all stations.

Why shouldnt he be allowed to join the military? He is willing to die for this country even it is not his. That is impressive and brave. Can you say that you be willing to do the same? Or are you going to stand back like a coward and insult this guy while he fights to defend our country?

NO illegal alien should be in the US. Come here legally THEN try to join the military.

A) He's not entitled to, illegals can not join due to many agreements between nations, especially during occupations. Look up SOFA agreements.
B) Just because he claims he wants to, doesn't mean that he will
C) Why didn't you ever join the military?
D) Why are you calling someone a coward when you have no clue about their history?

The military offers excellent benefits, you can bet that's all he's interested in -- how many illegals would quickly flee the USA (just like they're fleeing their own homelands) if we drafted them all and shipped them to Egypt -- "to defend this country".
These people aren't willing to make even the slightest effort to improve their own countries, you really need to question what their motives are in claiming they want to be sent to die in the Middle East fighting for who knows what. All the military means to them is a nice job with excellent benefits.

All true. Illegal aliens shouldn't be allowed to join our military. What an assumption that they would be willing to die for a country they aren't even a citizen of. Many times joining the military is just a way to way to gain employment and get an education. It is self-serving. Many times an enlistee doesn't even face danger. These illegals aren't even willing to fight for their own country by staying there to make it a better place but we are supposed to believe they are willing to die for this country?
Speaking of assuming, I was in the military during Viet Nam and did face danger. It takes a lot of nerve to accuse someone of being a coward when they know nothing about them. Yeah, they never have insults for illegal aliens. They just want to paint a "human face" on them to tug at your heartstrings so you will forget that they are lawbreakers.

Yep, I guess you would know about that not facing danger right? I don't believe that, most people that I have met that did Vietnam(including my step father) are not so open about it. I don't even need to insult illegal aliens, when you do that enough yourself.
Btw, I don't know why people say thank you for your service. People in the military sign up for it, it's not like we force them to go.

I was in the Navy myself, we had Filipino nationals in our San Diego boot camp. Non-citizens have served in our Military. I don't see a problem with it.
