True.

Just like this woman -- it's very unlikely she paid for health insurance or paid her hospital bills for those 3 fatherless children she chose to have, and it's most likely that the food stamps and housing subsidies they brought in are what helped her financially more than anything.

There are illegals near where I live that don't work or work sporadically. One woman has 5 kids, one she hasn't seen since he was an infant 16 years ago, the other 4 were born in the USA, all with different fathers who pay no support of any kind. She doesn't have to provide for her US born kids, the taxpayers do that. She will work occassionally cleaning houses which is about the only thing she has skills to do but that pays for her evening out at the club or extra clothes.

There is a myth that all illegals work harder than all Americans. Some do but many don't. Cut off all the Medicaid and food stamps and they'd have to work a lot harder or go home.

Using kids to get around the laws is pretty low class of these people.

The MSM is full of sobbing and hand-wringing about the 'human tragedy' of splitting up these families if we ever dare to deport one of these lawbreaking illegal aliens. Odd these 'loving' parents never considered that though, isn't it?

The solution is simple: deport their kids right along with them, and strip them of their citizenship if they have any. If the Constitution needs fixing, fix it. We've done it before, for far more trivial reasons.

Being in the country for over a decade? This woman should have filed the papers and made an effort to get legit. It seems in her mind that rules and laws are not important...that America is just some place that does not belong to anyone and is up for grabs...She should have gone through the proper procedure.

I would like to know how much in government benefits have supported this illegal Mother, with her American citizen dependents. Food stamps, Medicaid, cash benefits, and any other free benefits this illegal alien has recieved, directly or indirectly.

The worst decision ever made has been to allow citizen babies, to be eligible for public housing. Babies should be supported and provided housing by their parents, not the other way around.

Who really knows. The woman may have worked her but off and taken her pay under the table in cash. It seems she had enough money to buy a car and pay for fuel and repairs....I think what bothers me is - that she got accustomed to lawlessness.

I agree...but the problem is that the government is making an example of her...The government is saying to the public...Look - she how strict and firm we are with illegal immigration...see - we are actually doing something about it...........in the meantime there are 20 million more in the background they will do NOTHING about...Here arrest and deportation is just propaganda.

One down, twenty million to go.

She can take her kids with her. And walk them to school in her country.

It was once a crime to enter the US illegally; I believe it still is. Let people like this woman sit in a really dangerous and foul prison for a year, then send them back. When they find out that the penalties aren't worth the money they'll stop coming.

If her children don't want to be away from her they can go to Mexico with her.
