The article itself wasn't in the link only the topic heading. Anyway, it did say that 1,000 businesses would be notified to use e-verify. Yes, it is a start but it should be mandated in every workplace and those already on their payroll need to be screened also but they won't be, unfortunately.

They are just getting ready for the new W Visa that is part of the amnesty bill.
Got to get all the ducks lined up and the process in place.

Yes, this is an excellent move, long needed and no one is going to feel sorry for the corrupt employers who bring in illegals to pay them extremely little and who refuse to hire Americans.
