Considering we already have enough of our own sexual offenders on the streets, this really isn't something we need, of course, these people came in to pursue the American Dream and support their families? "Alien" doesn't mean "illegal alien" in the context of the article, these are resident aliens that are not deported because (for example) their home country will not take them back, and SCOTUS is ruling that they cannot be detained indefinitely waiting for that to occur...

Those countries that don't take their own citizens back then have all US Aid suspended.

Problem solved.

Not at all surprising. No other nation invites the lowest scum in the way the US does to prey upon its citizens.

We have a LOT of problems in this country, and this is just one of them.

But it would be nice if the morons that we call "politicians" addressed this.

Oh, they will. But not until it hits one of their family or friends.

There is certainly no lack of would be immigrants, but the system evidently brings us many of the worst. And people claim its hard to immigrate -- apparently not.
You are using the occasion to besmirch ALL of legal immigration, which are well-documented to be more law-abiding than even U.S. citizens, coming in at a rate of well over a million per year, by gauging it to the behavior of 2,837 individuals...

Do you have a source for that information? Are you looking at the actual numbers or percentages? I found this: Border States Deal With More Illegal Immigrant Crime Than Most, Data Suggest | Fox News, LiveLeak.com - Crime Statistics regarding illegal aliens in America by FBI- quick read (comments) and http://www.judicialwatch.org/blog/20...ost-u-s-crime/ I lived in the Tucson area for 6 years and now live in yet another area with a high percentage of illegal immigrants, those that came in illegally, committing a crime to be here.

Legal immigrants are more law-abiding than U.S. citizens. Sure I can source that, but my prior post was responding to someone that doesn't source his wild claims, maybe it should be more evenly applied here. Part of my claim is evidenced by this (non-illegal immigration-related) topic: Former legal immigrants that are successful deported for crimes in the United States are not here to repeat similar offenses here again.
