Yesterday afternoon, Grassfire received stunning, breaking news
from a source close to the Ramos and Compean cases that
Osvaldo Alrete-Davila, the drug smuggler whose testimony put
the two border agents in prison had been arrested for a
second marijuana load!

According to numerous sources, including WorldNetDaily.com,
Alredete-Davila was arrested yesterday at the El Paso border
crossing on charges stemming from his "second load"--

when he smuggled 750 lbs. of marijuana into the U.S. after
receiving medical treatment at government expense and
immunity from U.S. Attorney Johnny Sutton.

this arrest, coming just two weeks before the U.S.
Court of Appeals gets set to re-visit the Ramos and Compean
case on December 3, is almost certain to intensify pressure
to unseal information about Aldrete-Davila's second load

and the scope of his drug smuggling career--all of which
could play a huge role in getting Ramos and Compean released!

This past Tuesday, Nacho and Jose spent their 300th days in a
federal prison in solitary confinement all because they dared
to do their jobs in a highly trafficked drug and gang corridor
in El Paso, Texas.

Pretty disgusting, isn't it. I can't wait until we get MOD CUT out of office so we can get someone in MOD CUT to enforce our laws.

Thanks for the link Miborn, it's a really sad, sad time when law enforcement officers are put in jail for defending themselves. I just wish Bush would get off his rear end and pardon them.

I understand that Bush has decided that he will not allow them to go free. He is following the appeal process. Have you noticed that their case has not been brought up in any of the political debates.

Your welcome.
They never should have been arrested! Funny how the criminal is still doing his criminal activities.

Bush commuted Scooter Libby's prison sentence without letting the appeals process work through the case. At least some consistency would be nice.

Bush is a sack of poo. I'm so sick of that corrupt arrogant jackoff. BackwardsBush.com is one of my favorite sites; it counts down the days, hours, minutes, and seconds until he's out of office. I also have an 'Out of Office Countdown' calendar on my desk at work.

Great post, Miborn . . . thanks for sharing!

The Ramos Compean fiasco is an disgusting embarrassment to all United States Citizens with any sense whatsoever.

With any luck at all, Johnny Sutton (the twit prosecutor and Dubya's buddy) will rot in hell because of this travesty of justice.
