are you going to give them a fair chance to do so? or are they going to have to hop an even bigger fence and dodge ICE and somehow accomplish all that?

They can do it legally like every one else. Go home and get in line. There have been people waiting for along time to become a citizens. They should get first dibs. And no Amnesty, you dont reward lawbreakers. Cut off all services and jobs, let them go home and come back through the right channels. I would say allow more work visas but they have already shown they cannot be trusted to do the right thing. And no I want a block fence and the border patrols allowed to use what force is necessary.

I could not agree more, Nea1.

Any form of amnesty or granting special work visas is nothing but REWARDING COMMON CRIMINALS!

What would be the next step?

doing it legally costs too much. theyre going to cross illegally because of this. your solution is a failure. congratulations.

reintroducing alcohol prohibition. repealing the law was nothing but rewarding common criminals.

I want a Rolex, but they're soooooooooo expensive and I'm too impatient to work and save the money...I'm just going to steal one instead.

That's your logic.

Dont cross, it is their choice. They will have to face the reality when they get caught. Or how about, make it impossible to live here then they wont want to come!!!!

Yes I know, crazy logic. Because someone wants something, they should be allowed to just take it. But I guess because they were not rich back home they have an excuse, they can sell the rolex. That makes it ok.

wrong. there is a pretty clear line between necessity and desire. we, as a society, need food, clothing, transportation, shelter, etc... that is what a lot of these immigrants are getting here that they were not able to have in mexico. and whatever they did have, its of a much more realistic quality stateside.

a rolex is a luxury. you would be stealing 100% of it without giving anything back. that is a far cry from an applicable analogy to our immigration situation. nice try, though.

Good post. I agree, but to facilitate the deportations I'd like to see volunteer citizen patrols who are deputized like they did in the old days. Any money or assets found could be seized to help cover costs.
