Earlier this week, about 100 activists tried to prevent the Border Patrol in Tucson from arresting two men who were stopped over a traffic violation.

On Monday, the protesters travel to Phoenix and will attempt to stop deportations there by demonstrating at an Immigration and Customs Enforcement office.

Activists chain themselves to

When is the US gonna grow some balls and put a stop to this disrespect? IMHO every one of those 100 should've been rounded up and put in jail. If the illegal alien fans are SERIOUS about wanting to stop deportations; they need to risk being arrested and face any charges laid on them.

From the article:

“We delivered a very strong message both to Operation Streamline and also to the president,” said Marisa Franco, an organizer of the protest.

And just what is that message Ms Franco? That you think your ethnic group should be above our immigration laws and rewarded for breaking them? Their sheer arrogance and unreasonable demands knows no bounderies, does it?

Keep on doing that, Franco. I'm 100 percent sure many pro immigration people said about the same thing 100 years and; boom, the borders were closed by 1920.

She isn't pro-immigration she is pro-illegal immigration.

Too bad those "activists" aren't also deported.

Let these people go back home to their own countries and do some activism there. They won't, they don't give a damn about their people who aren't coming here illegally.

I wasn't real clear there: we all know that MOST immigration around 1920 was "legal" but; it was still shut down and I'm quite sure some activists back then wanted even MORE people to come here in 1919. The difference is Franco in 2013 wants amnesty for ILLEGAL aliens which none of us agree with.

Perhaps, while chained to those buses, if the buses had driven off and hauled the "protestors" along with them across the border is would actually accomplished something positive.

And funny how not one of these "activists" is protesting for more jobs for unemployed Americans.

La Raza wants nothing but unlimited immigration for their ethnic group, but you will never see them demand their own countries eliminate all immigration laws.

It appears that they and their supporters are A-ok that they already get the largest share of the pie for legal immigration also. But I guess that isn't enough they still defend illegal immigration from their group also? How many of their people have to be here before they are satisfied? Yet we are led to believe there is no Reconquista movement?
