I don't know for sure but I have an idea that there isn't much process at al-just let everyone in without backround or sponsors. ...
I don't know if my parents had sponsors or not but I know how difficult/long the process was in the 50's!

And.....I am a 'baby boomer' one of the youngest I guess. I worked my arse off as soon as I got out of college! Two full time nursing jobs...no bank loan for a house until I could build a small house outright!
No debt. No aid of any kind from the government.
It is the babyboomers that fought for YOUR freedom-discovered/invented medical sciences that have kept you healthy/alive. We gave you a job. Buck up..or shut xxx

I didnt ask them to fight for me or anyone. I am more than capable of fighting for my own freedom. It is because of idiotic boomers that unemployment is so high, after all most boomers run government do they not? Qnd no idiotic boomer gave me my job. My degree and ability to speak another language did. I would rather drink rotten rain water on the side of the road before i have a boomer help me in any way. All they do is wah wah wah.
Hmm... both my parents are Immigrants from Ireland.. they came to the US in the early 60s....Back then they Had to have a sponsor here in the US, that had to prove they had-have money= show there accounts ... to prove that the people who were to come wouldn't be a drag on this nation, was a long drawn out proses... Is it still like this today ??

Your people didn't fight for anything back in their country, all they did was get to the easy life of the USA, and do it the easy illegal way.
Illegals should never be rewarded. There is a legal process in place and all should do it the legal way.
Yep, that's what i would do...IF I OWNED A BUSINESS, Iwhich I don't lol. I wouldn't hire anyone over the age of 35 either. You are right, it's time to come down HARD on the baby boomer's who use up my tax dollars to come and complain how life is so hard for them. It's gen X's fault, no it's Gen Y's fault, no it's the millennials fault! no, now it's illegal immigrants! Geez, I wish I could deport all of the boomers to an island where they would do hard manual labor until the end of their days(which wouldn't be much longer) and maybe then they would see how good they have it and start accepting responsibility for THEIR actions since it's stupid boomers that have this country in the predicament that it is in.
Oh you mean our elected reps, many of whom are still in office and who are pushing for the amnesty errr I mean immigration reform bill. I agree they should be sent to an Island. Many in my age group, I am 50 are virtually debt free and have done nothing but pay taxes and led productive lives. Many like myself have a healthy retirement account and unlike illegals actually obey our laws.
Why blame the entire boomer generation for some of the idiots we have in office on both sides of the aisle? Just how idiotic is it for the Democrat "boomer" politicians and some GOP politicians to seek an amnesty for millions of illegal aliens when we have 23 million Americans out of work? By the way, the boomer generation is made up of all races and ethnic groups including the Hispanic variety. Why do I get the feeling that it is only the non-Hispanic white variety of boomer that is being demonized here?
Attacking the baby boomers is despicable! They have served in our military and contributed to our economy for decades. They are grandparents now and loved by their families. It has nothing to do with illegal immigration anyway.I have to laugh at the hypocricy. The pro-illegals cry about illegal aliens being deported but would have no problem with grandparents who are citizens of this country being deported and in fact that is apparently desired under this topic?
I know, it's unreal. Baby boomers aren't the bad guys here and neither are the military. The illegals are.
I care about blue collar workers even though I am white collared. My family tends to be blue and blue collared workers built America. No I don't want illegals of any nationality stealing these jobs from American workers.
