Smuggling rings brought in hundreds of illegals to U.S.
Smuggling rings brought in hundreds of illegals to U.S.
Federal prosecutors and law enforcement in Vermont have broken up two large human-smuggling organizations that transported hundreds of illegal immigrants from Canada across the border into New York and Vermont.
Police in the U.S. and Canada have made nine arrests in the United States, Canada and Korea and are searching for three more suspects, authorities said today in announcing the previously sealed indictments. The unrelated organizations made their headquarters in Canada, one operated out of Montreal by an El Salvadoran family and the other Korean-controlled and based in Toronto, according to court papers......

LOL, at this juncture on the U.S. Canadian border, you could probably smuggle a herd of elephants undetected in whichever direction you wish.

I kind of hate to say it, but it would seem to me that a bunch of illegals would stand out like a sore thumb in Vermont.

No, not at this time. The main cause of our infestation is the open border with Mexico, not Canada. We've had millions and million and millions of illegal aliens pour over our southern border, nothing like that is happening yet with our Canadian border.
Actually, Canada may want to build one themselves soon. With so many US cities being ruined by illegals the Canadians may want to build one to keep out 'everyone' south of their border.
