I dont see the point of this persons immigration status as being relative to the tragic accident, 40,000 people die in traffic accidents every year on Americas roads do all people in these accidents get an immigration check and why does an illegal alien get extra vilification, an accident is an accident,no one wanted it to happen,what difference does it make as to the nationality of the drivers, it was the impaired driving from drinking too much that caused the accident and not the fact that he might have been an illegal. .
Had that illegal alien NOT been here; the kid that got killed might be here in 2014. I agree 100 percent about our American crooks; we def DON'T need more her in the US. Sheesh!

But by that logic, if the person driving had been a US citizen, you might as well say, "Had that guy's mother not f_____ that guy's father, that guy wouldn't have been here, and that kid would still be alive." It doesn't wash.
Sorry, but this is a drunk driving story, not an illegal immigration story. The legal status of the people responsible for this horrible tragedy is irrelevant.
It's both. I know you don't want enforcement of federal laws, but this is real serious.

The majority of Americans are required to have auto insurance.
Illegals have gotten the idea they can pretty much do whatever they want. No one expects them to buy insurance - local cops can't do much of anything when it comes to illegals breaking traffic laws.

It is both as illegals drink and drive and do not carry insurance at disproportionate rates.
My father in law was hit and badly injured by a drunk driver. It was a hit and run but they caught up with him later. He too was an illegal without insurance.
