Tell your elected officials to GET SERIOUS and (1) adequately fund enforcement and (2) actively enforce the existing laws. Otherwise, those elected officials will be out of work after the next election.
You can't hold it against the illegals for wanting to come here. They're broke; they want to make more $$$ just like you and me. And you can't blame them for trying to 'dig in' once they're here. It's human nature.
The problem is that OUR ELECTED OFFICIALS won't ALLOCATE ADEQUATE FUNDS TO ENFORCE THE LAWS that they passed.

That's very true, and I think most of us agree that it's the government's fault. One of the problems is that WHOEVER we put into office will probably be pro-illegal. Most of them are in cahoots with big business or with groups like LaRaza.
We don't blame the illegals from trying to come over here, but we DO blame them when they put forward demands that we speak their language, pay for their healthcare, pay for their schooling, pay for their welfare, etc. They seem to "bite the hand that feeds them".

Our problem is that judges, big business, and our own federal government has declared war on US Citizens. Its all about the power and the green for these selfish suckas. No wonder why there is nearly no action to fix illegal immigration.

Absolutely, Alanboy.
Unfortunately, the God Almighty Dollar wins every time!

In AZ, the State IS funding law enforcement:
Local law enforcement officers are becoming sworn Federal officers
Illegal Immigrants, once identified, are being arrested, detained, and deported
Employers stand to lose their business licenses if they hire illegals

The list is quite extensive
Just as it should be. But the blame is not all on big business, and the Fed Gov. WE have states passing laws that facilitate illegals. Laws that prevent employers and landlords from being able to demand proof of legal status.
And then we have the pro-illegal crowd inventing excuses for how we can't live without illegal labor. The fact is for any benifit of illegal labor there are many costs. We are loosing trades to illegals. We are in effect creating a dependence on illegals. The majority of us are against this trend. Its not to late to make ourselves heard but we must stand firm come election day and vote against any pro illegals.
Another example of the stunning lack of immigration law enforcement.
Don't know if you saw the 60 minutes piece about Puerto Ricans selling their identities many years ago to illegals. Many of them are now sitting on a beach in Puerto Rico sipping a Pina Colada and collecting their Social Security checks and they never put a cent into the system.
