Jeez, the federal budget is dominated 62% by military expenses. A lot of them go to contractors which employ abroad and work abroad. A lot of that money from contractors never goes back into the U.S. tax system. Why not have 0.5% of that go to domestic assistance for undocumented families and individuals.
Because these illegal aliens (not undocumented) are foreigners here illegally, that's why! Their own countries are responsible for them.
I understand where you're coming from. A way we can stop the 2BN people from entering the U.S. is by helping them in the country that they're currently in and cooperating with other first world countries in aiding these people.
How about they help their country themselves? Rather than just flee it, imagine what they could do if they finished school, didn't start having babies at age 14 or 15, didn't have baby after baby they can't afford, and became responsible voters. And instead of expecting everything for nothing like your illegal friend, they work hard and pay into insurance plans back home.

One has nothing to do with the other. I have a $1200 a month mortgage, should I then be expected to have a $500 car payment simply because I have a mortgage?
Why not have it go to illegals? Because they are illegals....
Should car insurance payouts go to the car thief because he wrecked the car he stole?
That process is too long, and would require reform for that to even work correctly and efficiently.
There is no such thing as illegal immigrants. Just immigrants. Some authorized by the state to work, and some the state don't even know exist.
Illegal immigrant= in the country illegally. Expired VISA, entered without a VISA etc.
How long or difficult the process is is irrelevant. We owe them not a thing. I married to a legal immigrant now a citizen. We wait for my step daughter's Visa to be approved a 7 to 10 year wait. Now in contrast to illegals my daughter has never violated any US laws. Why should illegals be rewarded and granted a head of line pass in front of anyone who is doing it the right way?
